We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Electrician to join one of our busy engineering clients.
Position Overview:
As an Electrician, you will play a pivotal role in providing electrical services for various facility equipment, including installations, maintenance, repairs, and compliance testing. You will work closely with our team of technicians and engineers to ensure that electrical systems and equipment meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within client facilities.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues across various facility equipment.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to electrical problems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the installation and repair teams to support large-scale equipment projects.
- Complete all work in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed service reports, including inspections, repairs, and testing results.
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance of electrical systems to ensure long-term reliability.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrician, with a focus on facility equipment or industrial electrical systems.
- Relevant electrical certifications and licenses (e.g., Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician).
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with equipment installation, repair, and inspection/testing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
- Physical ability to work in various environments and handle equipment and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with facility management systems and automation.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire alarms, etc.) and how they integrate with electrical systems.

- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
