We are currently looking for a talented Welder to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

Position Overview:
As a Welder , you will play an essential role in the fabrication, installation, and repair of facility equipment components. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and safety of equipment used in various industries. You will collaborate closely with our technicians and engineers to ensure high standards of craftsmanship and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding and fabrication of various metals for equipment installation, repairs, and modifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Ensure all welded components meet quality standards and are structurally sound.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and repairs, diagnosing welding-related issues efficiently.
  • Work with team members to install, assemble, and maintain facility equipment.
  • Maintain safe working conditions by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including welding processes, materials used, and inspection results.
  • Ensure that welding equipment and tools are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the repair and testing teams to ensure all welded components pass inspection and meet performance requirements.
  • Follow local codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Welder, with a focus on industrial or facility equipment welding.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Expertise in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of welding materials, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience with metal fabrication, cutting, and bending.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, elevated areas, and outdoors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with welding on large-scale equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Familiarity with safety standards in facility management and equipment installation.
  • Knowledge of equipment testing procedures and related documentation.
  • Understanding of electrical or plumbing systems and their relationship with welded components.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week

Willingness to travel:
